Culture

Tangail handloom saris from Pathrail are famous nationwide. The Garo community lives in the Madhupur forest.

History

Santosh, where Maulana Abdul Hamid Khan Bhashani worked, is here. In 1971 the Kaderia Bahini fought heroically in this region.
